Experion has signed a product redevelopment agreement with a UAE-based edutech start-up that provides a comprehensive training management system. The system enables organizations across industries to consolidate and manage the learning programs for their employees on a single platform.
On completion, the system would provide the analysis, design, and development of competency frameworks, including course design and content development & the set-up and management of courses. The solution is envisaged to be available online, on mobile, or on-premise. Apart from this, a cross-platform mobile application for Instructors will also be developed.
Even though the client started developing the MVP version of the application with another vendor, the client quickly realized the need to transition the work to a more experienced IT partner – someone who could take over the existing code, fix issues & enhance and build more features as envisaged in their MVP roadmap.
Based on the analysis of the shared source code and the scope document, the team proposed re-engineering the existing system to meet the business objectives of the client. It was estimated that nearly 50-60% of features specified for the MVP needed re-work or needed to be newly developed for the system to be market-ready.
As the next step in the process, Experion will have a dedicated team of engineers, architects, testers, and business analysts to re-engineer the existing system to incorporate the suggested features, requirements and make the system market-ready within agreed timelines.
