Experion has signed a contract with a leading software product company in Australia to perform an “as-is” analysis and to provide technology recommendations to one of it’s legacy software. In operation for a period of over 30 years, the product is one the most comprehensive solutions in the client’s domain and has over 1000 installations.
The client was having challenges in maintaining the code base and to do continuous enhancements to the product, as it was written using legacy technologies. With a view to re-engineer the product to accommodate modern technologies, consultants from Experion and domain/ product experts from the client side will work together to review the product from a functional and technical perspective. The team will focus on understanding the current set of features, architectural & deployment environments, internal & external interfaces and third part frameworks.
They would then recommend a new technology stack for migrating the application. The re-engineered product will co-exist with the client’s existing product portfolio and will be rolled out to all customers in a phased manner.
