The client is a US based early stage fintech company offering an online equity finance marketplace for institutional investors. The trade matching application uses listed options to match buyers and sellers of stock financing. The solution includes customer and trader terminals, which in turn communicates to a trade matching server in the backend. The desktop-based web application handles high volume transactions and integrates with Bloomberg APIs for fetching real time stock data.
Currently in beta testing phase, the application was developed from the ground up by Experion. Based on live testing by pilot users, the client has identified a set of changes and enhancements to be completed before making the application accessible to a wider set of institutional users. The current engagement will involve making the required changes to the application functionality, regression & performance testing of the platform, and finalizing the roadmap for future development by prioritizing the identified product features.
