Harnessing its product engineering expertise, Experion has initiated a new project for developing a pricing application for a leading automotive OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) based in the US. The client’s national distribution network consists of a wide network of warehouses, direct dealers, retailers, and franchise stores. 

Operating in a dynamic market, the client regularly publishes up-to-date product pricing details to its independent and directly owned distributors. Each distributor in turn updates and maintains pricing for their dealers. This process is inefficient and takes multiple weeks to deliver pricing to the dealers, resulting in revenue leakages. 

The key requirement of the project is to simplify the time-taking pricing process with a dynamic pricing solution, with an objective to maximize productivity and eliminate pricing disparities in the distribution network. Experion will kick-start the project with a discovery phase, followed by enhancing the existing pricing system. As part of the project, Experion will also help in developing a pricing portal for the distributor and dealer network with the ability to drive price changes accurately and efficiently.
