Experion has entered into an agreement with a leading beverage manufacturer headquartered in the UAE with operations across the Middle East market. The client serves close to 13,000 stores in the UAE and exports to countries including Oman, Kuwait, Iraq, Libya, Sudan, and Yemen. It employs state-of-the-art technologies for farm and production management on par with European standards and has attained numerous niche certifications.
The client uses a direct store delivery (DSD) model to distribute its products across the region. The model lets the client directly distribute their products to retailers skipping the retailer distribution centers. The client wanted to replace its existing Microsoft Windows mobile-based sales management solution with a custom-built solution to meet their clients’ expectations.
The focus of the custom development for the new sales automation software is to improve its performance and usability in order to enhance efficiency in its distribution and operations management.
As part of the engagement, Experion initiated a 2-week discovery session with the client’s IT and business teams. During this phase, the features required for the sales automation software were identified and documented.
The development of the Custom sales automation software has since commenced.
