Experion Technologies, along with its partner in the Scandinavian region – Youni AB, has extended IT support for Swedish Board of Education Fund in its relief efforts in Ebola affected Liberia. Set up with a primary objective of supporting education in Liberia, the Swedish Board of Education Fund is currently running an extended campaign to use its funds and volunteers to fight the deadly Ebola outbreak. Since the virus spreads at an alarming pace, the on-field efforts have to ensure that the relief materials (chlorine, wash buckets, soap, rice, cooking oil, etc.) reaches the target group as early as possible.

To encourage donations and to disseminate news and latest updates from Liberia, Swedish Board of Education Fund operates two websites utbildningsfonden.org and klorinmotebola.se. Experion has helped revamp the websites and to add features that can help end users get near real time updates from the field. A map based tracking feature was implemented which can help provide detailed information about the relief efforts at a location based on its geo-coordinates (GPS location).

The project is done as part of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative of Experion.
