The client is a leading software solutions provider for the retail domain with over 20+ years of experience working with fashion retail store groups in the region. The client’s products, which include ERP, Point of Sale (PoS), and Warehouse Management Systems specialized for fashion retail, are used by some of the fast-growing retail brands in multiple countries.
As a step towards accelerating their digital transformation journey, the client approached Experion to architect and develop a data management platform that helps to store and manage standard, high-quality data across retail organizations.
Experion envisaged the platform as master storage management for all data consumed within the client’s enterprise ecosystem, supporting multiple channels across retail stores. Given the range of products offered by our client, in addition to providing a single source of data to the tools, the data platform also needed to support real-time updates to the key business attributes and broadcast them too. The platform’s subscription management feature notifies users or systems about any data-level changes to an entity in the Master Data Storage Management platform and provides offline access to the master data store whenever required.
Leveraging best practices in data architecture aligned to a well-calibrated mix of technologies, the solution perfectly blends the client requirements with the existing IT landscape. Deployed on the Microsoft Azure cloud, the MDSM platform architecture is scalable to enable the client to incorporate future requirements without any hassles.
