The Experion Design Team officially launched the Kerala chapter of The Interaction Design Foundation (IxDF) this year.

Founded in Denmark, IxDF is a nonprofit community that’s over 16 years old. The community pioneered online UX design education and continues to offer self-paced UX courses that go over the entire spectrum of UX design, covering concepts from beginner levels to advanced. It has also created the world’s biggest and most authoritative library of open-source UX Design literature with noted authors such as Don Norman and Clayton Christensen.

About IxDF’s Local Group initiative:

IxDF’s Local Groups aim to build a professional network among the UX fraternity and help them improve the most sought-after skills in their domain.

IxDF has approximately 470 Local Groups across the world, who continuously raise the bar for community engagement and have become the go-to communities for both aspirational and existing designers.

IxDF Kerala:

Experion’s Design Team launched the Kerala chapter of IxDF to create the best possible platform for UX learning and exchange for designers in the state.

This will be a forum for connecting with fellow designers and learning from some of the smartest people in the business. The IxDF – Kerala Local Group has initiated online meetup sessions on various topics such as:

  • Insights from Human Interface Design Guidelines, User Research, and Methods
  • Friction in Design – A Better User Experience?
  • Effective Tips on Logo and Identity Design
  • From Bad Design to Badass Products etc.

The chapter will conduct online and offline workshops to spread the word about User Experience and Usability, introduce thought leaders to young designers, bring industry veterans to share their experiences, and organize offline workshops for budding designers once COVID-19 restrictions are lifted.

IxDF Kerala chapter is run by volunteers from Experion who are incredibly passionate about UX Design and User Experience.
