Experion has signed a contract with a leading provider of IT product solutions for the global maritime industry, to reengineer one of its key products. Deployed on cruise ships, the application allows passengers to subscribe to specialized services. Integrated with other mission critical information systems, the application also allows tracking and monitoring of the service being consumed.
The objective of the project is to enable end customers to access the application from browsers of devices running different technology platforms and form factors (desktop, laptop, tablet and mobile devices). Experion will reengineer the application using HTML5 responsive design, which will allow end customers to access it from any browser. Experion will also upgrade the code base of the application to the latest version.
