Experion has signed an agreement to develop a footfall tracking & analytics solution for a technology solutions provider with operations across Australia & New Zealand. The client enables retail & hospitality businesses to augment their processes and to stay competitive through digital transformation solutions.

The client wanted to develop a solution for retailers that helps them comply with government guidelines while reopening their businesses post the COVID-19 lockdown. After evaluating our expertise in delivering digital transformation solutions to large retail organizations across the ANZ region, the client approached Experion Technologies.

Experion’s team of solution architects and software engineers are set to design a scalable footfall analytics solution. The solution will track and monitor the incoming and outgoing traffic by enabling customers to check-in and check-out at the entrances of a retail store. Retail stores will be provided with near real-time data about customer demographics as well as footfall traffic. Leveraging advanced retail analytics, the solution can help stakeholders to track and trace customers. As part of the product road map, Experion’s solutions team will work with the Product Management team to develop native mobile applications and designing a customer data platform for retail groups.

Hosted completely on the cloud, the solution will comply and exceeds all security/ privacy regulations and will be used by some of the largest retail chains across Australia & New Zealand.
