Library, also regarded as the ‘gateway of knowledge’ plays a vital role for a nation by preserving its historical, political, and sociocultural heritage. Experion has extended its wholehearted contribution to this noble cause by helping to build a library for St. Mary’s English School, Kuzhikala, Pathanamthitta.
Experion’s DAYA club is solely dedicated to performing social upliftment activities with a broad vision to help develop and empower the community as a whole. The establishment of this library is a successful accomplishment of DAYA club’s ‘Build a Library’ initiative, engaging every Experionite to donate books in order to build the library.
St. Mary’s School is located at Kuzhikala, a remote village in Pathanamthitta District which is having classes from LKG to Class VII. The DAYA club along with the school management launched the library on 11th August 2022 at 11.30 AM. Many Experionites have shown their valuable contribution and donated about 200+ books. In addition, the club has also purchased around 100+ books for the library.
Jayakrishnan, (AGM, Employee Experience Dept. Experion Technologies) was the chief guest of the inaugural event. The DAYA club provided necessary instructions to the school library in-charge and school students about how to use and maintain the library. DAYA officials and school students together have stacked the books on the bookshelves.
