Experion has successfully completed a consulting engagement for a Europe based, healthcare start-up company, to develop a web based Patient Information Management system. The solution is aimed at replacing the existing manual process of filing and managing patient information in clinics/ hospitals targeted at a specialized discipline in the medical field. The key purpose of the solution will be to provide options for physicians in specialty clinics to schedule appointments, manage patient files/ medical records and to support analysis of medical history of patients in a user-friendly manner.The consulting engagement was conducted over an intense, collaborative workshop where Experion consultants worked closely with domain experts from the client to define and analyse the requirements for the proposed application. A team of business analysts, system architects, design/ usability experts from Experion provided recommendations on functional, technical and user interface aspects of the application.The next phase of the engagement will involve development of the web based Patient Information Management system, which is expected to commence by January 2013.
